The 2005 fall release is a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that is sure to inspire with its full body and deep garnet color. The barrel tastings reveal hints of tobacco, cherry and blackberry that are supported by a firm tannin structure accomplished by aging in French and American oak. Enjoy!
The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon received a score of 94/100 points from the wine spies and a superior wine alert; "This is a Stupendous offering from a winery that many will surely come to hear about before too long! Dr. Schrader has created a veritable masterpiece with this wonderfully balanced, lush and richly layered Napa Cabernet Sauvignon".
The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon also received a Silver Medal in the New World International Wine Competition held in Los Angeles, competing against wines from all over the world. 2005 Estate Cabernet Port:
The 2005 Estate Cabernet Port received a bronze medal in the 2007 International Eastern Wine Competition held in New York. It is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that has been fortified with a brandy that has been aged in oak barrels. It is a dark, ruby colored port that exudes lots of fruit on the palate and has a smooth finish. This is a very limited release!
